Objective:

 
M.Sc. biotechnology is a two year master program. We use living organism in the different field of biology like molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, and microbiology and cell culture system for making useful products for mankind’s in Biotechnology. 
 

Eligibility Criteria:

 
For applying in M.Sc. as student must have 55% marks obtained in bachelor’s degree in subjects like biotechnology/zoology/botany/agriculture/veterinary/medicine/other life science courses.
Current status of Biotechnology at National and International level.
India is the emerging biotechnology hub in Asia. Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi has number of international collaboration projects with following country (such as Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Netherland, Norway, Spain, Sweden, UK, USA and EU) and non-government organization. India is the first country that have project on Human genome diversity. Government of Indianpromotes transgenic research in plants (with prominence on pest and disease resistance, nutritional quality etc.), and support R&D and manufacturing industries like biopharmaceuticals and agricultural industries. Investment in public and private sector in the field of biotechnology increased with respect to time. Improvement of genetic product productivity and development of medicine products increases.

Biotechnology has multidisciplinary branches in the field of biological science so it has wide variety of options for respect to job, business and research and development.
